Blayne Olney was trained at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC. Prior to this program Blayne spent his earlier educational years completing his Kinesiology diploma at Penticton Okanagan College. Blayne was born and raised in Campbell River and after spending several years in the Okanagan, made the decision to move home. He looks forward to giving back to his community by aiding his clients in managing their musculoskeletal pain, using multiple modalities to best suit the client. Blayne takes a clinical approach to treat conditions, chronic, and acute pain, working towards getting you back to your normal.

Sahresa King, Registered Massage Therapist

In 2015 Sahresa graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy (WCCMT) in New Westminster, BC and became registered with the CMTBC in 2016. In her program Sahresa had the opportunity to work with many outreach programs including: a pre-natal clinic, GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre, Multiple Sclerosis clinic, and Hospice care. Sahresa’s knowledge of massage techniques range from Swedish, deep pressure to hydrotherapy, joint mobilizations, and neuromuscular facilitation. She particularly enjoys treating postural imbalances, headaches, acute injuries, chronic pain and myo-fascial triggerpoints. In addition, she provides home care exercises to enhance the effectiveness of the massage treatment results, and encourages the patient to take an active role in their wellness.

After graduation, Sahresa moved back to her hometown of Campbell River and is ready to start her career and expand her skills at RiverCity Therapeutic Centre!

Gillian McCallum trained at Westcoast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria. After graduating in 2011, she moved back to Campbell River and has been working at RiverCity since 2012.

She brings to the team a genuine want to help people manage their daily and chronic musculoskeletal pain, and has a passion for helping people make small changes that have a huge impact on their quality of life. One of the areas she has decided to focus her taining on is treating people who have chronic TMJ disfunction.

Some of the modalities Gillian uses are myofascial release, craniosacral, and various neuromuscular techniques. Her treatments tend to be moderate to deep tissue, but will always listen to the body’s needs, and tailor her treatments based on that.

Outside of work you will find her in the garden, or out foraging in the woods, and occasionally ducking out to catch live music as often as she can!

She looks forward to seeing you Tuesday through Friday.
